Originally known as Black Press, Black Elm approached me for a rebrand to accompany their new name. The goal was to retain the charm and identity of the original brand while introducing a refreshed, modern aesthetic. After exploring multiple design directions, we arrived at the logo their customers now recognize and love—a clean, minimal mark that blends the shape of an elm leaf with a subtle nod to latte art. It reflects both their rootedness in quality and their craft in coffee.
